Multiple Views of Your Business in Grant World

When curating a list of grants for a business, the more “faces” the business has, the greater the number of grants for which an entity can qualify.

Grants For You has access to over 28,000 grants, with between 45 and 100 new ones coming online each weekday. It’s a staggeringly large pool of funds, and the focal point isn’t whether a grant can be found for your business, the task is to filter a massive list down to a manageable number of prospective grants.

Out of the entire pool of grants, it takes approximately two weeks to curate a list of five to ten grants that are a good fit for the business. The full pool is pared down to about 1,000 grants, and from that pool, the final ten grants are derived and presented to the business for final selection. This in part because even though Grants For You uses some of the best filters in the industry, the filtering remains imperfect and the curation process requires manually reviewing every prospect from the list of 1,000.

The filtering program Grants For You uses has approximately 120 filter settings, and we base those settings in large based on the business profile. Turns out most businesses have more profile elements than may appear at first glance. As an example, the business may be one that delivers technology. Upon further initial discussion with the business, other key elements unlock access to grants such as if the business is minority, veteran, or woman owned. Location can count as there are grants for areas deemed “disadvantageous”. Markets served such as agriculture, export, women’s shelters, literacy, education, after school programs, and literally dozens of other interests or markets unlock entire sets of grants.
